Setting up your auction house

Start from the /start page of the Catalot back office. The wizard saves as you go, and a checklist on your dashboard shows what is left.

1. Company and owner account, then Stripe: you are sent to Stripe to set up your account. Buyers pay you directly; Stripe pays out to your bank. You can catalog while Stripe reviews you; charging waits until it is done.
2. Brand: logo, color, storefront text, your storefront address, and optionally your own domain.
3. Locations with standing pickup hours.
4. Sale defaults: terms, pickup terms, buyer's premium, increments, soft close, payment options, shipping.
5. Bidders: import your list and send them an invitation.
6. First sale: opens cataloging.

Your plan starts with two months' subscription waived; billing starts in the third month after your first sale closes. The free months continue while you close at least two sales a month: a month with fewer ends them at that month's end. Pay monthly, or yearly for ten months' price. Settings → Billing shows your plan, the free months, your AI drafts against the plan's allowance (then 12¢ a lot), the next invoice and your card.
