Selling regulated categories

Firearms, alcohol, vehicles and real estate are locked in the category list until you upload the matching license in Settings, Licenses and Catalot approves it. Knives, ammunition, ivory and a few others need no license but carry their own rules.

Firearms

Each sale chooses how its firearms transfer: through a licensed dealer, or privately to residents of your state in person. You sign an attestation on the sale; it is kept word for word. Catalot then limits bidding to eligible bidders and keeps those lots off shipping.

Payment

Many regulated lots are paid to you directly, in person or through your own processor. They go on a separate invoice; Catalot's fee on it is billed to you.
